I love rooCASE Ultra Matte Shell Generation
If you are like me, and were on edge about getting the 7th gen Nano for the storage capacity, but also wanted the convenience of the clip on the shuffle, look no more. This case solves both my issues perfectly. It isn't bulky as most iPod/iPhone cases tend to be and does not add any weight, great for the gym!
Quick notes:
- I purchased the 'frost clear' case. I was afraid it would look like frosted glass but it is entirely clear (I believe it should be advertised as 'clear'). I'm happier the way it is, because I didn't want to cover my red iPod's color.
- As stated in another review, the screen isn't entirely covered so it may be still prone to scratches and cracks. However, rooCASE also sells a plastic film to protect the case that I have purchase. Hope this resolves my problem!
ReplyDeleteI recently installed this case on a 7th gen Nano; installation was (literally) a snap, and fit appears to be excellent. Only time will tell how it actually protects, but I do like the molded-in clip on the back, and the minimalist form, as well as the lightly frosted clear allowing the original color to show through.
ReplyDeleteBest I have used because of the one piece design. A competitor has a plastic case with a hinge that attaches to ones shorts. Broke within a day because it is flimsy.
ReplyDeleteThe rooCase is a simple design that works - fastens easily to the shorts and because its rubber it will last a long time.
I really love this shell case for the iPod Nano 7. I HATE wearing straps on my arms because they always slip off, so that wasn't an option, so I bought this to wear on the waist of my running shorts and it has been wonderful. It doesn't slip off or move around at all. It's AWESOME.
ReplyDeleteperfect case....sharp looking and fits well...stays clipped on where you place it and does not slide around or fall off...bought 2 of them....
ReplyDeletewell made, fits well and gives you a clip for attacing to one's shirt or belt. would recommend to a friend.
ReplyDeletethe ipod slides in perfectly although it does not securely hold the unit. holding you ipod from the side and turning it upside down will tend to slide the nano out of the case... side buttons are not easily accessible with this case as well specially the middle button for skipping or replaying the songs...

I was surprised to get a call from the seller inquiring about the problem (I usually contact them first before anything gets resolved and usually these calls turns out unpleasant). She offered a replacement right away suggesting that I may have gotten a defective item. Two days after the call I got the replacement and to my surprise this one does not let the ipod nano slides out when holding it upside down.
This purchased has been an A+ experience for an outcome of quality product and customer experience.
I use this case as part of my running gear...its durable and keeps my nano well protected. I haven't run into the sliding issues that some other have written about (and I hope I never do).

I received this case 2 days ago. It is excellent for my Nano seventh generation and I am thrilled! It has a nice tight fit but doesn't interfere with anything, not even bluetooth. A great product. I can now clip my Nano on my shorts while I walk on the treadmill, and know it is secure! Thanks to rooCase for making a great product, the seller for carrying it, and to Amazon for the fast ship!
