I know a lot of people look at a 5-star rating and frown, but this book honestly deserves it. Lover Undercover is the second of Ms. Beck's books I've had the pleasure to read. Sexual tension sparks between Trevor and Kylie from the beginning and only gets hotter as you turn the page. Trevor is totally Alpha, but so kind and considerate...and freaking hot! It isn't often a writer can give her reader murder, suspense, humor, heat, and wrap it all up in a way that leaves you anxious for her next book. And you can alaways count on secondary characters who beg for a book of their own, as is with Kylie's twin, Stacey and Trevor's partner, Ian.
