You need To Check this Folkwear Pattern 227 Edwardian Afternoon
I used this pattern several years ago when I needed a period costume for a play I was in. I am not the easiest person in the world to fit so I end up making a lot of my own costume s. This dress fit perfectly the first time I made it after a few carful measurements and alterations for my size. It also only took me one day to make. when making, cut the waist yoke and skirt to fit your waist measurement. the skirt is a full circle, so it will go over larger hips easily. a larger bodice size also easily gatheres into a smaller waist, check the bodice yoke against your shoulder measurements. I lengthened the skirt (I'm 5' 8" tall and was wering 2 1/2" heels) by adding length to the ruffle at the hem. I did use a different sleeve pattern than the one provided, so I can't comment on the sleeve pattern includid. I made the trained version of the dress and was very happy with how it fell over an Edwardian petticoat. It was easy to move in (for a train) and I didn't have to fuss with it much while moving around, even on a soemwhat cramped stage with lots of furnature. I used a light weight silkey fabric and I would coution anyone else to also use a light weight fabric. the skirt is very full and could get heavy quickly. I was also wearing it over a period corset, which helps to support and distrubute the weight of the skirt.
