I love Bloch Womens Split Character Medium
I've been performing in Music al Theater shows professionally for 10 years, and this is my favorite shoe to wear. I do purchase my regular street shoe size in this shoe, even though many people recommend purchasing a half to a whole size larger. I originally purchased a half size larger, broke the shoe in, and now it has stretched to the point that I almost cannot wear them anymore. This is a fantastic shoe that works well for music als, nights out dancing , or for a costume shoe. The split sole allows your foot and ankle total movement and control, the heel is the right height, and the strap is easily adjusted for fast costume /shoe changes. The nude is the only color I have used thus far, and the only problem I have is if the stage is painted black, it might come off on your shoe, depending on your movement. This is a more expensive character shoe, but I call it the poor man's LaDuca (a split sole character heel that costs upwards of $200). Great buy!
