I'm Happy after buyingThis John Carter Two Disc Blu ray Combo
Edgar Rice Burroughs wrote 11 Mars books and I have read them all. I passed my love of these books on to my son. We both have the complete collection. We both went to see John Cart er of Mars. We both loved it. I plan to buy two copies of the dvd (one for each of us). To the reviewers who trashed the movie I say "Peeshaw!" You can bet your bottom dollar that none of them had read the books. Its getting to the point that if the reviewers trash the film I check it out. They seem to be often out of touch with the people who go to films! I have seen countless films they they trashed and I loved. The film was true to the stories written by Burroughs. The solar and hydrogen powered airships which are common in his stories were a wonder to behold. The green men of Mars and the great white apes of Mars were just as described in his books. Everyone I have talked to who has seen the film liked it! I hope they do more John Cart er films because I will go see them and I will buy the dvds. Yeah for Disney and boo to the reviewers who panned it!
