Looking at the ranking in Amazon, it is disappointing to realize that not many of us MM fans appreciate great writing or mystery romance. Because this is what we have here. 4th in this murder/mystery series featuring the ever getting into trouble journalist and his such a hunk art ist boyfriend, this one has to be the best so far. I love this writer's style. Her crisp and engaging writing with some witty/fun moments just holds my attention from beginning till the end. The mystery plot here is very well done indeed. Tightly paced with not a wasted word. I never guess the murderer and when it was revealed, everything just click together. Such a senseless and heart less murder but real life tells us that murders have been committed for much much less. As for the developing romance between Peter and Nick, I love it that the guys have taken it to the next level. Sometimes the romance angle does get stale in a continuing series. But not so here. The chemistry between these two is even more palpable here. Such contrasting characters yet these two are so right for each other. Love Peter's ever active mind and curiosity. Love the stoic Nick who tolerate his journalist boyfriend's antics with quiet humor and patience. The secondary characters are just as quirky and fun. I hope the writer will continue with this most enjoyable series. Great stuff!
