Great Side Effects You Fantasia
Apologies I couldn't think of a better title, but my review will be short and to the point.
I give Fantasia all of the praise in the world for her best album to date. (Free Yourself is second behind it, to me.) As different tracks were leaked here and there, I became more anxious for the album's release. Everything I heard was eargasmic. As I watched her Centric Live performance, she spoke about how this album was finally the direction she wanted to go in, career-wise. (sans what her label thinks) And it shows.
Each song seems a lot more personal, like she had some input during the songwriting process. The production sounds a lot more friendly towards her voice and singing style. Start-to-finish, I don't believe there to be a skippable track in the bunch. Though, I must say the title track is my least favorite. I understand the message of it, but I don't like the groove/sound of it. Other than that, I still give the album 5 stars.
