Great Wish Upon a Star ebook
The first time I saw Billy blanks Jr. in action was after finding him through Comcast On Demand. After my first workout, I was hooked! I have watched them all, but Billy Blanks Jr. is really the only trainer I trust. It feels weird to put that in writing, but he loves what he does and is genuine about wanting a better quality of life for his viewers. The workout video On Demand was little less intense and the dance moves were less involved. I think I like this DVD even more for that reason. He will want to make you work out. I think about working out while at work. I can't wait to get home, put on my off-the-shoulder shirt, throw my hair up in to a ponytail and get it!! I have struggled with my weight for years and I finally feel like I could really stick with something. If you're questioning whether or not to get this video, rest your mind and just do it. Super fun and exciting workout. I can't say enough good things about it. :)

I really enjoyed Wish Upon a star. It was very well written and the characters were well developed. We were introduced to Jen who wishes to ask her crush David to the upcoming dance. Since it's a girl's choice dance, Jen and her friends set out to ask their respective interests. I liked how each character had a distinct and likeable personality. I found myself enthralled in the story and couldn't wait for the happy ending. The friendships in the story really added a nice dimension to what transpires. The story is very modern and young readers would have no problem relating to the story.

ReplyDeleteI found this an adorable romance that took me back to a time when I had much less to worry about but what I worried about seemed so much more important than any problem I have today. Jen is a lovable character, probably typical, but still fully realized. She is encouraged by her friends but doubts herself. I won't give it away, but it is a very romantic ending. A very fun short novel that made me very nostalgic.

It has a unique storyline that will keep you thrilled from the start to the end. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes love stories and romance. This will definitely keep you entertained the whole time while reading the book.
ReplyDeleteI am so tired of teen romance books that turn out to be trash. So when I saw the reviews for Wish Upon a Star, I was very encouraged. This is an incredibly sweet romance about set in all too familiar situations, the school dance, the crush, the cute boy. I loved it. It's a clean read. No inappropriate situations at all. I gladly gave this to my 12 year old daughter who is starting to go through that "boy phase." It's so important to have sweet, clean, appropriate books out there for pre-teen and teen girls. FIVE stars all the way from this mom!

An excellent read. Characters are well developed and just sweep you along.
The story line keeps you turning the pages.
Makes for a happy, smiling read.
