I love Almost Bride Wyoming Wildflowers ebook
I thought that ALMOST A BRIDE was an exceptionally good romantic story. Not only was the book very well-written and well-edited, the conflict between Dave and Matty was totally believable. Matty's attributes were many, but nowhere was it claimed that she was unusually beautiful (except in Dave's eyes, of course), so it was much easier for me to identify with her. The same is true for Dave; his looks played little or no part in Matty's long-standing love.
Not only Dave and Matty were three-dimensional; the other characters in the story had well-developed personalities, too. The imagery was wonderful and it was very easy for me to immerse myself in the book. The writing style was smooth and flowed easily from beginning to end. Even though this book is the first in a trilogy, it did not have a cliff-hanger ending, thank goodness. (I absolutely hate cliff-hangers!)
I would happily recommend ALMOST A BRIDE to anyone who wants to settle in and enjoy a great love story.
I just started reading yesterday morning and I finished today. It was a wonderful page turner. Good charters and decent plot. Very well written. I am not much for reviews but if you want a light weekend read I highly recommend this book.
ReplyDeleteA Must Read. I love the free spirit of the herion and the bending nature of the gentalmen in question. Can't wait to read everyone else's story as well.

I loved the book. It was a quick read, I read it in a day. The story was cute and kept you smiling. Can't wait to read the second book in the series now.
ReplyDeleteAnd totally baffling for the guy who gets the proposal. Patricia McLinn writes the warm sort of love story she is famous for, in a beautiful setting, the perfect background for a marriage, except for that odd little detail the groom has to sort out. A charming romance.
ReplyDeleteMcLinn does it again. She whipsaws you on a roller-coaster of emotion, and has you rooting on every page for this couple. Their love is abiding and sweet, but you'll biting your nails watching them work it out. I can't wait to read the rest of the Wyoming Brides.
