Great Forum Novelties Fleece Turkey Costume
We love this costume because it is a full costume . You can take it out of the bag and be dressed head-to-toe without needing to go buy anything else, like a shirt or tights. The legs, body, wings and arms are all one piece you wear like coveralls- the wings are sewn to the costume at the bottom and then you slip clear plastic straps over your shoulders like a backpack to pull them up. This design, and the fact the wings are stuffed with cardboard, makes this one of the rare costume s where the wings will actually stick up. It's ingenious. The head and feet are separate, and of strong, sturdy material. The head does seem to run a little bit small. Overall, this is a comfortable and good looking costume . The only downside I see is that my kids couldn't wear it to school all day on Turkey Day because the wings wouldn't fit in the desk. Since the wings are sewn onto the bodysuit, they cannot simply be removed. Wasn't a problem for us, as we only needed it for around the house and on stage , but it's probably not an all-day-at-school kind of costume .
