I'm a compulsive lipstick buyer, always looking for that perfect shade and formulation, and in Maybelline's Color Sensational - Autumn Rush, I have found it! This came as a real surprise to me since I've never liked Maybelline's lipsticks. I decided to give this one a try because I was intrigued by the shade, and the price was right, so I thought, what the heck.
I'm so glad I did! This creamy lipstick is the perfect balance of coverage that lasts and moisture that keeps lips feeling soft. What I really love is that it is a creme formula (often hard to find!), as opposed to a frost, which I hate because it makes your lips look white. And the color is the bomb!!! If you're into neutrals like I am, you will love this shade. It's a soft brown that can take on soft mauve/pink hues depending on the lighting. So many browns either look like dirt or are too neutral, making your lips disappear. Autumn Rush is perfect! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

ReplyDeleteI have never purchased a lipstick online! Having said that I am very glad I did. Perfect color for my complexion (medium olive)with lots of moisture. I loved it so much that I am buying 2 more.
ReplyDeleteBought this lipstick in anticipation of Fall. Didn't hear or read anything about it ahead of time - it was an impulse purchase. I LOVE this lipstick. It is moisturizing without being heavy, stays on long and the color is great. I am going back to get another color! Can't say enough about this lipstick - and I'm usually not a lipstick wearer.
ReplyDeleteI was looking for a good dupe to Mac's Brave, and this is is. It's such a pretty neutral pink color that can be worn everyday. That's what I do. :) It really enhances my natural lip color and just makes my overall look a tad bit more feminine and put together. Try it!

I love this lipstick. It's so smooth and creamy, very unlike most other lipsticks I've had which tend to be sticky or chalky in some way. This feels just as nice as my lip balm, and has a really nice, coconut-like smell (and no taste that I've noticed). It's NOT a strong color, so if you're looking for something that makes your lips pop, this isn't it. It's very neutral and light -- perfect for wearing to work (at least for me). I also got it for less than $3 with sales + a coupon -- can't beat that! :)
