I love Cemetery Dance Issue 68 ebook
I just want to say first off that I have both this one and the 8701 Evolution DVD. That being said this is the best one. The first disc Behind The Truth gives us an inside look at Usher's life and some of the things he goes through on a daily basis. Also there's the cool feature where you get to direct Caught Up! This being said lets talk about disc 2, which is the Truth Tour concert live in Atlanta. This concert was absoutely breathtaking. His dance moves are amazing and his vocals are simply breathtaking. Although the one thing I didn't like was that he didn't sing as much as normal. Now lets talk about the 3rd disc, The Truth and Beyond. One thing I didn't like was they put the Yeah! performance on here instead of on the 2nd disc as the last song. I know that its the finale but come on! like someone else said switching discs for the finale of the concert is a pain in the ass! Also the 3rd disc shows his Camp and some other things that are hidden on the disc. Anyways if you dont have this boxed set in your collection, I suggest you get it! TRUE Usher fans own this set!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also besides getting it online, Best Buy is the about the only place you can find this. It's very hard to find.

The art work is great as always, and the rare reprint of the glass floor makes it an excellent collectable item.
ReplyDeleteLiving overseas, international shipping is always a killer for me, and so I was wrapped to see Cemetery Dance finally start to offer their awesome magazines in ebook format.
ReplyDeleteThis issue is all about my favourite Stephen King artist, Glen Chadbournne, and is full of amazing art from him as always. A great King story always helps too.
The ebook format is well structured, easy to read on my iPad, and of course comes with all the benefits of an ebook, that you wouldn't get with the hardcopy (dictionary, wiki search etc).
If you have been thinking about reading CD's magazines, but didn't want to pay for shipping, I highly recommend you buy their ebook editions.
This issue was great! As an avid illustration fan and an illuistrator myself, it is especially exciting to see a full issue highlighting the art of top-tier illustrator Glen Chadborne. This one is worth it just for the art, but the stories are up to the high standards of Cemetery Dance as always so get it for the reads as well. The other cool feature is they republished Stephen King's first sale as an author. That is the weakest story (given that he was just then breaking into the field) but it is really cool to gain the insight into how horror's top gun got started. I am a long time reader of the magazine and this was one of my favorite issues of all time.
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say the Glenn Chadbourne art was worth it alone.. The early Stephen king work with illustrations was excellent. Brian Freeman's intervie with Glenn was also great.
ReplyDeleteThe usual stellar issue from Cemetery Dance! No body does it better! I always look forward to receiving the next issue.
ReplyDeleteI loved discovering a Stephen King work, but there's so much more to this publication. Can't wait for the next issue!
ReplyDeleteI just love these magazines. They are always full of great interviews and short stories from wonderful authors. They are such a joy to read.
ReplyDeleteExcellent Magazine, having it on Kindle is definitely a plus. A new collection of short stories every month, interviews with authors etc.
