I love Dark Venous Mehron Stage Blood

I bought this tub of stage blood for my Halloween costume . It was very believable. For my costume , I wrapped bandages around my head, smeared them with dry cocoa powder, and then applied the Mehron stage blood. It is very viscous--and a little vicious--and the color is completely believable. Add a little cocoa powder to create an aged-blood effect! It also has a good colorfastness; be careful not to get it on your...well, anything you don't want to be pink forever. The bottle it comes in seems tough, too. The blood is mostly corn syrup, so it is mighty sweet and sticky. The only way I could think to improve the product would be to add a little Red Vine flavoring to it. I was constantly getting it in my mouth and would have preferred a pleasant strawberry taste. Not cherry though. Strawberry.
